Once logged into the admin portal Exchange Admin allows administrators to modify the anti-spam policy and settings for the entire organization. Here's our quick guide to get you started:
http://portal.office.com > Admin > Exchange Admin Centre
Under the "Protection" heading choose "spam filter", then edit the default policy.
In the example below we've changed the "Bulk email" threshold from 7 (default) to 4. 1=aggressively block spam, and 9=relaxed.
We recommend leaving the "action" as "Move to Junk EMail folder", so that each user can quickly retrieve any false-positive emails that may get marked as spam/bulk email.
In the next example we've also enabled scanning for "sensitive words"; although no full list is published, it is an ongoing project that will remove some unpleasant spam.
More features and options are being added to Office 365's anti-spam filters, so be sure to check the admin areas from time-to-time and see if there's any other settings that you may like to implement.
