Trobleshoot mapping drive to OneDrive for Business

Here's the most common issues:

  • The latest version of Internet Explorer needs to be downloaded
  • The latest Windows Updates need to be applied
  • Internet Explorer: URL needs adding to Trusted Sites
  • Internet Explorer: box "Keep me signed in" needs to be ticked, and IE remains open
  • The "WebClient" service* is not running (needs to be set to autostart)
  • A hotfix needs to be applied - see the full article cited above

*Webclient: this service only shows on servers if the role feature "desktop experience" has been added
