Setup Office 365 on your Android phone or tablet

 Your Android phone can sync your Office 365 email, calendar and contacts. Additionally, you can add the OneDrive app which will allow you to access (open/upload/edit/share) files from your Office 365 storage (OneDrive for Business). We also recommend adding OneNote and Lens.

Setup email, calendar and contacts

• Add your Exchange email account (ActiveSync) to your Android phone
• During the process you may be prompted to accept the security policy; this is vital and will allow your phone's security to be managed by you in the event of a lost or stolen phone

1 of 7: Go to Settings > General > Accounts

2 of 7: Click Add account

3 of 7: Select Microsoft Exchange (ActiveSync)

4 of 7: Enter your email address and password, then click NEXT

5 of 7: Wait whilst the server settings are automatically applied

6 of 7: Choose Account options (then click NEXT)

• We recommend at least 1 month of email
• We recommend the entire calendar
• Ensure that sync Contacts is selected

7 of 7: Finsihed (click DONE)

Setup OneDrive for Business

• Download the "OneDrive" app from the Play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.skydrive
  

  

  • You'll be prompted to enter your email address and password
  • Make sure that you choose "Work/School" account, rather than "Personal" account
    
    

    

Setup OneNote

• Download the "OneNote" app from the Play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.office.onenote

  

  • You'll again be prompted to enter your email address and password

Setup Lens

• Download the "Lens" app from the Play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.office.officelens

• Download the "Teams" app from the Play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.teams
  This is an import app, as Microsoft is integrating many collaboration features - it will enable you to harness the new chat-based workspace
