CloudSync speed limits

How to adjust the network speed for uploading/downloading files:
Overview:
the CloudSync desktop software client limits the speed (bandwidth) that it uploads/downloads files. This is by design to ensure that the software runs 'silently' in the background, ensuring that the cloud synching process does not impact on your broadband connection's available bandwidth. For example: most users watching an online video do not want it to slow down or stutter simply because the CloudSync software detected a new file it needed to upload into the cloud!
Some more savvy users will want to adjust the speed limit to allow files to upload/download quickly, possible even using ALL of the available Internet bandwidth on their broadband connection.

Open the CoudSync software control panel; for Windows users go to Start > All Programs > CloudSync

From the CloudSync software control panel select the "Bandwidth" tab.
Change the "connection speed" to "Custom".
Set the download/upload limits to whatever you prefer and click "OK"; this is measured in Kb/s - if your broadband line has a download speed of 8 Mb/s then a setting of "8192" Kb/s woudl allow CloudSync to utilize ALL of the Internet bandwidth if required.

You may also want to adjust the "Number of connections"; this is the maximum simultaneous file transfers and more than 4 will put a strain on most home broadband connections. Too many files being read form the computer's hard drive at the same time may even slow down the computer. The default setting is "1".
