RIPE IP request form

Modified on Sat, 26 Dec 2015 at 03:40 PM

Due to changes with Ripe (The European IP number authority), we are now required to perform strict auditing of IP block requests.

Due to this, we require a Ripe form is completed for each IP block request and returned to us as an attachment in a ticket.

Once received, we will validate and authorise the request based around the reason for this IP block. In line with requirements from Ripe, requests that do not fit the guidelines for an IP block may be declined.

These measures have been introduced due to the dwindling volume of available IP space available worldwide. Until the adoption of the next generation IPv6 is performed worldwide, it is likely that further strict measures may be introduced. All UK providers are being asked to perform this activity and declining to do so may affect their Ripe membership.

The form attached is in Microsoft Word format
