Remote Support

When obtaining Remote Support from https://help.zx3.at we will usually send special link in an email, or give you a code to type in like this:


Apple Mac: may require allowing security

Although on a Windows PC a simple "I agree" message is sufficient, some versions and configurations of Mac computers may need to be manually configured to allow remote sharing.

If this is the first time you've obtained Remote Support from us using your Apple Mac computer then you will need allow the app permission to share remote control. Once you've downloaded and installed the app it will prompt you to go to Settings > Security & Privacy:


...in the Security & Privacy section, select Accessibility, click the lock icon, and ensure a tick is next the "RemoteSupport" app:


Screen Recording

Additionally, check the "Screen Recording" also has "RemoteSupport" or "ConnectWise" enabled:


Big Sur+

From Mac OS "Big Sur" onwards you may need to manually add the app by clicking the "+" icon and navigating to /opt/connectwisecontrol-xxxxxxx and select the client there so that it appear in the list:



Once you've allowed the app permission, next time you need support you'll just need to click "OK" whenever Remote Support is offered.
