Overview: this article is to direct businesses and consumers to the official OpenReach source confirming that "PSTN" & "ISDN" (copper phone lines) are 100% being switched off at the VERY latest by 2025, and will be STOPPED FROM SALE after 5th September 2023. Businesses and consumers should make plans as soon as possible to calmly migrate their phone services to cloud-based ("VoIP") services. No one can predict if there will be sufficient availability of the new model Cloud Voice ("VoIP") handsets by the end of 2024, especially given the ongoing chip shortages and Chinese manufacturing supply-chain issues. Prudent adopters will not only avoid anxious last-minute decisions, but benefit from the reliability and financial savings of moving their voice services to the Cloud.
Our expert advisors are ready to help you make a calm, planned and intelligent move to Cloud Voice...

Problems by procrastinating
Migrate before December 2024 at the latest, and migrate by end of 2023 to avoid the following:
- Hardware supply-chain delays
- Backlog delay processing Openreach number porting requests
- Unavailable Openreach engineer appointments
- Order queues with your chosen Communication Provider
Myths
"VoIP is more expensive" (No, it's cheaper than the line rental and has unlimited calls)
"I need the reliability of a landline if the internet goes off" (No, diverting calls to your mobile is free and automatic, making our Cloud Voice platform even more reliable than that old piece of copper wire)
"We need a line for RedCare alarm" (No, RedCare urge you to move now to "IP Essential" - the best ever RedCare)
"We need a PSTN line because..." (We'll give you £50 if you can think of an excuse where we don't have a better solution by going digital!)
