First step: verify credentials
Before you begin, go to http://smartermail.ispcloud.co.uk/mobile on your phone and login using your email address and password. If you can't login (for example, due to incorrect password) then you need to resolve this first, before continuing.
Free app: MailWise
Since each phone will have slightly different configuration steps using the phone's built-in email app, we have outlined the steps to add a SmarterMail email account using a freely available app called MailWise; just go to the app store on your phone and install it.
Account type: Other
When you open the MailWise app choose the account type "Other"
Type in your email address and password, and click "Manual setup"
Incoming email: IMAP
Choose "IMAP" as the type of incoming email account
Enter you email address and password. For the "IMAP server" enter smartermail.ispcloud.co.uk on port 143; security type "none". Click "Next".
For the "SMTP server" enter smartermail.ispcloud.co.uk on port 587; security type "none". Tick the box "Require sign-in". In the "Username" field enter you email address and password.Click "Next".
Final account settings
Tick all of the boxes and click "Next" to complete the account setup. Your email should now start to synchronize with the MailWise app on your phone.
