Cloud Voice: Password activation

Overview: This article explains how the initial password is delivered via email; subsequent password resets are similar. Although web portal access is not required to use phone devices such as Yealink phones and Cisco ATA adapters, the web portal offers call reports and features (such as call divert). Additionally, apps such as Webex softphone for mobiles and desktops are initially configured from within the web portal.

Step 1: Email arrives from provisioning@yourwhc.co.uk

Email subject: Your communications service – password reset

Hello <First_name> <Last_name>,

A password reset for the Business Portal has been requested for your account at 09:00 on 27/09/2023. This link is only valid for the next 24 hours and will expire at 09:00 on 29/09/2023. Should this happen, you'll need to click on the portal URL below and follow the forgotten password link.

Your security is very important to us. If you've made this change, please use the button below to set a new one.

Step 2: Click link and choose new password

Must be at least 8 characters, contain upper and lower case, 1 or more numbers, and 1 or more of the following special characters: £ $ ^ & - + _ @ ~ # ?

Step 3: Email arrives from provisioning@yourwhc.co.uk

Email subject subject: Your communications service – password updated

You can now login at https://voice.ispcloud.co.uk

Username: your username - the part before the @ symbol

Domain: the part after the @ symbol

Password: [as chosen above]
